Finding accurate contact information for dentists across the country is harder than it should be. Licensing boards publish data in different formats, practices change addresses and staff, and directories go stale within months. This page organizes state-level dental contact lists so you can move directly to the region you’re targeting instead of building outreach lists from scratch.
Below are registered dental lists for all 50 states plus Washington DC. A handful of state pages are linked directly; the rest are grouped for reference as we continue building out individual state pages.
How to use a state dental list effectively
- Segment by state or region first, then narrow by practice type (general dentistry, orthodontics, pediatric, oral surgery) if your outreach depends on specialty.
- Verify records periodically. Provider data ages quickly as dentists relocate, retire, or change practice ownership.
- Match your channel to your message. Email is exempt from the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, though CAN-SPAM rules still apply, while marketing texts and calls fall under TCPA and generally require prior consent.
- Keep a working unsubscribe process and honest sender identification in every email campaign, both of which are baseline CAN-SPAM requirements.
A note on compliance
Reaching dental providers by phone, text, or email involves different rules depending on the channel. Marketing calls, faxes, and text messages are regulated under the TCPA, while email marketing is governed separately by CAN-SPAM. If your outreach includes texting, confirm consent requirements before sending, since enforcement and litigation activity in this space have been active in recent years.
